29 August, 2003 Visionmax International
Limited ("VMIL") a supplier of Integrated
Multi-Channel Visualization Systems for Multi-media
and 3D Graphics, has signed a Partnership Agreement
with VRLOGIC GmbH ("VRL"). Under the
terms of the Agreement, VRL will become a value
added reseller for VMIL and will focus its marketing
efforts on Germany and other European German-speaking
territories.
VRLOGIC was incorporated in 2002 by Andreas Schobel
who, with his brother Christian, had previously
founded one of Germany's first specialist VR companies
in the early 1990s.
Andreas and his team have more than 10 years experience
in distributing and servicing sophisticated VR
products in Europe as well as providing solutions
for interfaces and customized application developments
all over the world.
Ben Vaughan, VMIL's Managing Director, commented:
"VRLOGIC is a new company but Andreas and
his team are very well known in Germany, highly
respected and bring a wealth of history and knowledge
about the Visualization Market. I have worked
closely with Andreas in the past and am delighted
that he was sufficiently impressed with our technology
to want to work with us. We will now be able to
extend our marketing into the European German-speaking
territories with the knowledge that we have an
excellent partner offering local support".
Andreas Schobel, Founder of VRL, added:
"We were very impressed with the VisionMax¢â
systems when we were able to see them working
at the Siggraph exhibition in San Diego. Affordable
stereo visualization display solutions of this
quality are much in demand and we can see many
opportunities where PC-cluster solutions can be
used effectively.
"VisionMax¢â Systems are robust, easy to
install and operate yet offer a range of complex
features, including edge blending and distortion
correction, that are not available on competing
products. We are confident that their flexible
configurations will be welcomed by our customers".
